Shaunté Wilcox, born and raised in Terre Haute, IN, and has over 20 years of experience in the beauty industry. She earned her cosmetology education from J. Everett Light Career Center and Harrold’s Beauty Academy and has been a licensed cosmetologist in Terre Haute since 2012.
Roots To Beauty celebrates the legacy carried through generations, showing how the qualities passed down from your origins can be embraced and expressed in your own unique way. As someone who grew up in the world of barbershops and beauty salons, Shaunté has a deep connection to this craft.
Her goal at Roots To Beauty Family Affair Salon is to create a safe, welcoming space where you can Rethink, Recharge, and Refuel while she enhances your natural beauty. “This salon is my sanctuary here in Terre Haute, and I hope my light shines brightly in your life. I’m excited to share my roots with you and welcome you into our family.”
